Registration for BCLL's 2021 fall season is now open! The costs for the season will be as follows:

Baseball: $150
Softball: $150
Rookie: $125

There is a $10 sibling discount for families with multiple BCLL players.

Registration will close Friday, August 13th at 11:59 pm.

Evaluations will be held from Aug. 15-17.  BCLL will open up a sign-up Genius with specific times in the final week of the registration window.  All registrants will be emailed an active link.

Evaluations will be held at the BCLL facility at 918 Junction Rd. All players league age 7 or older are strongly encouraged to attend.

Fall is when league ages jump ahead. Baseball league ages are based on how old your child will be on Aug. 31, 2022. Softball league ages are based on how old your child will be on Jan. 1, 2022. See this page for official age determination: https://www.littleleague.org/play-little-league/determine-league-age/

Note that league age 4 players are not eligible for Rookie in the fall but will be eligible in the spring.

While BCLL determines division placements based on skill, the general expectation is that only league age 5-6 will play Rookie ball. If your child is league age 7 and you feel they would be best placed in the Rookie division, please contact BCLL to make us aware of this preference if you did not indicate it in the comments section. Conversely, any league age 6 player (or younger) who wishes to play in machine pitch must attend skills evaluation in order for BCLL to be in position to honor this request. The league will make the final determination. This is the case for any and all requests -- please do not make an assumption about which division your child will be placed. Attend the skills evaluations!

While dependent on final numbers, BCLL hopes to have four baseball and two softball divisions this fall:

Baseball
-- Upper kid pitch
-- Lower kid pitch
-- Machine pitch
-- Rookie

Softball
Lower player or coach pitch (11-inch ball),
Upper player pitch (12-inch ball)

The plan is to start games the week of September 11th.  Number of games will be determined by the number of teams in each division.
The goal is to schedule 12 games for each team. Teams will play a minimum of 10 games for the regular season. Games cancelled due to weather may not be made up unless teams are at risk of falling below 10 games

Covid-19 Precautions
Safety will be our top priority. We hope the games feel much like the BCLL events that you've experienced previously, but there will be differences.

1) Spectators should maintain social distancing and spread out towards the outfield while watching games
2) Each team will be required to have a monitor to ensure COVID-19 guidelines are followed.

The league's specific COVID-19 policies will be shared with all registrants before practices begin the weekend of Aug. 23. By completing the registration, you are agreeing to follow BCLL’s policies.

We look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
