Registration for BCLL's 2021 spring season is now open! The costs for the season will be as follows:

Baseball: $200
Softball: $175
Rookie: $150

There will be a COVID-19 credit of $75 for players who registered to play at BCLL in the spring of 2020 but did not play in either the summer or fall seasons. The credit will be applied during registration.  If you have questions about the credit, please reach out to BCLL VP Jack Daly: [email protected]

There is also $10 sibling discount for families with multiple BCLL players.

Registration will close Friday, February 12th at 11:59 pm.

BCLL is changing the evaluation process this season to align with COVID protocols. To limit the number of people at the BCLL facility, please use the link below to select a specific time on Feb. 20 or 21. Attendance will be limited to the first 40 registrants (there will be four separate stations spread across three fields). Times will be allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis!
Access Code: BCLL2021

Evaluations will be held at the BCLL facility at 918 Junction Rd. All players league age 7 or older are strongly encouraged to attend. League ages for baseball are based on how old your child will be on Aug. 31, 2021; league ages for softball are based on how old your child was on Jan. 1, 2021.

While BCLL determines division placements based on skill, the general expectation is that only league age 4-6 will play Rookie ball. If your child is league age 7 and you feel they would be best placed in the Rookie division, please contact BCLL ([email protected]) to make us aware of this preference if you did not indicate it in the comments section. Conversely, any league age 6 player (or younger) who wishes to play in machine pitch must attend skills evaluation in order for BCLL to be in position to honor this request. The league will make the final determination. This is the case for any and all requests -- please do not make an assumption about which division your child will be placed. Attend the skills evaluations!

While dependent on final numbers, BCLL hopes to have seven baseball and a minimum of two softball divisions this spring:

League ages 13-16 (60-foot pitching; 90-foot bases)

Kid Pitch
Majors; National (middle kid pitch); American (lowest kid pitch)

Machine Pitch
Upper (International); Lower (Pacific)

Coach pitch or Tee ball

Lower player or coach pitch (11-inch ball),
Upper player pitch (12-inch ball)

Additionally, BCLL will have a Seniors softball division if there is sufficient interest. It would be for girls who are 13-16.

Other Important Dates for Spring

Covid-19 Precautions
While BCLL is excited to resume baseball and softball games, player and family safety remains a priority. Similar to the 2020 summer and fall seasons, BCLL will follow all NC and county guidelines. Players and families should expect to maintain social distancing and wear masks when distancing is not possible. Each team will be required to have a monitor to ensure COVID-19 guidelines are followed. The league's COVID-19 policies will be shared with all registrants before practices begin.

By completing the registration, you are agreeing to follow BCLL’s policies.

We look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
