Bat-A-Thon

The Bat-A-Thon is a major fundraiser for Bull City Little League. Historically, Bat-A-Thons have raised more than $20,000 for BCLL. We hope to surpass that total in raising funds to maintain and improve our fields.

All BCLL players are eligible to participate. Individual and team awards will be presented based on the number of dollars contributed times the number of points the player earns for each hit on 10 pitches thrown by one of the coaches:

• 1 point for an infield hit
• 2 points for a ball that reaches the outfield
• 3 points for a hard grounder that reaches the outfield
• 4 points for a ball that reaches the outfield on the fly
• 5 points for a home run (hit past cones set up in the outfield)

For example, if a player collects donations of $100, and earns a hitting score of 25 points, the player's total score would be 2,500 points.

Awards will be given for the following:
• Overall Individual Winner: Playstation 5
• 2nd Place Individual: $250 gift card to Amazon
• 3rd Place Individual: $150 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods
• Overall Highest Team Winner: Team Pizza Party

Each player should seek to get donations from friends, family members, neighbors, and businesses to support the league. Donations can be in any amount – every dollar helps! All donations to the league are tax deductible. Checks should be made out
to “Bull City Little League.” We also accept Venmo - @BullCityLL. Venmo payments should include the player name and the team.
Bring your wallets to the event–there will be an opportunity to purchase bonus baseballs. There will also be food trucks and other festivities.
Winners will be honored on the web site and BCLL social media sites.
