Represent BCLL in 2022 Bahama Christmas Parade!

Bull City Little League will once again participate in the Bahama Christmas Parade this year and you are invited to join us! We would love to have as many families participate as possible. We welcome players to ride on the float (decorated trailer pulled by a truck) as well as players to walk in front and along side to throw out candy, hold flags and wave at the crowd. Please read the details below in order to sign up and participate!

We ask every parade participant to bring lots of candy to throw out to the crowd along the route.

The parade will start at the intersection of Country Knoll and Bahama Roads and end at The Bahama Ruritan Club (8202 Stagville Rd). At the club you will find hot chocolate, donuts and Santa Claus!

Logistics:
Date: December 10, 2022
Time: Parade starts at 10am. We will gather at Little River Community Complex at 8:30am then ride the trailer over to line up.
Address to meet: 8307 N Roxboro St, Bahama, NC 27503
Address to pick up your child: 8202 Stagville Rd. (Bahama Ruritan Club)

Helpful tips:
* Players are welcome to wear their jerseys & hats, however, dress for the weather!
* You may drop your player off at the float, then go park at the Ruritan Club where you can walk down to enjoy the parade then meet your player back at the Ruritan Club.
* Participants tend to get excited about the candy and throw it all out at once. We encourage you to bring lots of candy to be sure there is plenty for the entire route.

Float Decorating:
Our "float" will be a trailer pulled by a sponsored pick up truck. We will need assistance on Friday, December 9th to decorate this trailer. If you're available, please sign up below and come to 1303 East Geer St., Durham at 6:30pm to help decorate. If you have decor you'd like to donate - bring it!

Needs to make this years event a success:

*We will need adults to walk along side of the trailer to make sure everyone remains safe.

*We will need help decorating the trailer the night before
