Division placement is based on:
  • Skill (recorded at evaluations)
  • Age
  • Previous divisions played
NOTE: THE LEAGUE WILL MAKE THE FINAL DETERMINATION ON DIVISION PLACEMENTS.

Evaluations will be held on August 15th and 16th. We will NOT be doing a signup genius this fall for evaluations. Our evaluations will be held on on August 15th and 16 will be conducted as follows:

August 15th from 6pm-9pm: Last name A through L
August 16th from 6pm-9pm: Last name M through Z

All players are open to show up anytime between 6pm-9pm on either day. Expect the evaluation to last approximately 45 minutes.

All evaluations will be held at the BCLL facility at 918 Junction Rd. Players should bring their own gloves, helmets and bats.

All baseball players who will be 6 years old or older as of Aug. 31 should plan on attending evals. Younger players (5 years old or younger as of Aug. 31) should attend only if they hope to play machine pitch.

All softball players who will be 8 years old or older as of Dec. 31 should plan on attending.

NOTE: If you cannot attend your evaluation day due to a personal conflict you are welcome to come to the other day instead

While dependent on final numbers, BCLL hopes to have similar divisions as previous fall seasons:

Baseball Divisions
  • Rookie (coach pitch/tee ball)
  • Machine Pitch
  • AA (player pitch; lower level)
  • AAA (player pitch; upper level)
  • Seniors (New for 2022!)
  • NOTE: There is NO Majors division in the fall, all league age 12 players will be placed in AAA.

Softball Divisions
  • Minors (player or coach pitch; 11-inch ball)
  • Majors (payer pitch; 12-inch ball)

As of now, the plan is to start practices the weekend of August 27th and games the week of September 12th. The number of games will be determined by the number of teams in each division. Currently, the goal is to schedule 12 games for each team. Teams will play a minimum of 10 games for the regular season. Games cancelled due to weather may not be made up unless teams are at risk of falling below 10 games

Fall is when league ages jump ahead.

Baseball ages are based on how old your child will be on Aug. 31, 2023.

Softball ages are based on how old your child will be on Jan 1, 2023.

By completing the registration, you are agreeing to follow all BCLL’s policies.

We look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
