The Blue Jays concluded a successful campaign by defeating the Padres 13-6 on Thursday night at BCLL in the championship game of the Majors division.

The team went 11-3 on the season, running off seven straight wins to conclude.  Its three losses were by a total of four runs.

It defeated the Yankees 5-1 in the semifinals on Wednesday in a competitive game. Cameron Harper started for the Blue Jays, striking out 10 in four innings while not giving up a hit. He also helped himself at the plate, hitting an inside-the-park home run in the fourth that scored three runs to push the lead to five.

Ryan Dippolito had a strong start for the Yankees, striking out nine in three innings. He struck out the final seven batters he faced.

The Padres defeated the Giants 5-3 in the semifinals to reach the title game, using the pitching of Lucas Setji and Reagan Yancey to advance.

The Padres jumped out to an early 6-1 lead on Thursday night before the Blue Jays battled back. The Blue Jays scored six runs with two outs in the third to push ahead 7-6. Gavin Cook and Grayson McGraw both had important hits before Eli Huston hit a bases loaded triple off the wall in right.

The Blue Jays scored six more in the fourth, with Harper again providing an extra base hit. Huston provided a strong effort on mound, going 2.2 scoreless innings.

Philip Daly was a catalyst at the plate in the playoffs, reaching base all five times with four base hits.
